Well it’s been a good year for the Outl4w boys.
Following on from the hyperactivity of 2005, and to avoid the pitfalls of potentially becoming a short lived novelty act, the boys decided to take a little time out to develop the real band, hence the DIY release’s of the ‘Get In The Van’ CD and the ‘It’s Only Rock n Roll’ DVD, both of which by the way, will not be re-pressed. There are only a couple of hundred left of each, so if you do want either of them, best get ordering now at the Online Shop
Outl4w played 54 gigs in 2006, not bad considering weekends and school holiday are the only option, along with TV appearances on Disney Channel, Blue Peter and an IPTN worldwide news feed.
There were a couple of notable festival appearances in the summer; ‘Wasted’ in Blackpool, along with their first European showing at the ‘Go Basque’ festival in Spain. This was followed by a trip to Japan in October for a showcase gig in Osaka. There’s lots of videos clips and photo’s of course, online, on the Outl4w website
2007 dates are coming in thick and fast, including festivals such as ‘Concrete Jungle’, ‘Nice & Sleazy’, ‘Punk Aid’ & ‘Rebellion’ in the UK, ‘Les Nuits de l'entrepot’ in Belgium, ‘Mondo Bizarro’ in France, ‘Back to the Future’ in Germany, along with further trips to Japan in April & August.
The British nursery rock-pank group " Outl4w " congratulates all on Christmas and thanks our creative association "Starkids" for development and promotion of the given musical style in our region and in Ukraine. The boys are recording the first 4 new songs over Christmas, which are to be released on 7” vinyl in both the UK and Germany in the New Year.
